Beautiful original Dutch delivered Triumph Spitfire 1500 from 1975. This top restored Spitfire is painted in the original and special color Mimosa Yellow. The car was fully restored a few years ago, completely body off. The chassis was blasted, thoroughly taken care of and painted in the original black color , the sheet metal was professionally painted, top quality. Then everything was rebuilt with reconditioned and new parts. What a beautiful appearance this 70's classic is. The seams are in perfect condition, which is tricky with a Spitfire. The engine and gearbox are of course also completely overhauled, so under the hood everything is also like factory new. The 1500 engine runs great and quiet. Everything has been renewed, pipes, brakes, clutch, chrome work etc.. The interior is completely renewed and very neat, the black upholstery with yellow piping looks great, the carpet set, door panels and hood cover are all equipped in black. The soft top is new and equipped in black vinyl.A wooden Mountney steering wheel matched perfectly with the walnut wood dashboard. All dashboard clocks have been completely overhauled so they work perfectly. The car has a very special option , a Spitfire Surrey Top with targa roof. In terms of looks you immediately get a very different car. Very rare, we had never seen one in 19 years. The period correct steel wheels fit this classic Triumph perfectly, as it should. The restoration of this original Dutch Spit has been many times more expensive, that's for sure! Who is going to enjoy this 70's beauty carefree this spring and next summers?
