MGB V8, 1969

Insanely beautiful 1969 MGB V8 in Carmine Red. What a beautifully restored car. This car was built with a brand new Herritage body. The car is equipped with a 3500 CC V8 from a Rover SD1. What a gurgling monster! The 5-speed transmission is also from the same Rover SD1. The engine was overhauled at the time and suitable for unleaded gasoline, also the gearbox was completely renewed at that time. The car has a Holley carburetor fitted with an Offenhauser intake manifold and MG valve covers. Cooling has been upgraded to an MGB V8 radiator with Kenlowe cooling fan. The entire suspension is by Ron Hopkins, so uprated front and rear wishbones, Billstein telescopic shock absorbers and weighted stabilizer bars with lowered competition springs. The car has a stainless steel fuel tank and a stainless steel Big Bore V8 exhaust system, what a great sound comes out of it! The car has an MGC rear axle mounted for the proper transmission of all this power. This also allows the mounting of 15" wire wheels. There are 72 spoke chrome wire wheels with stainless steel spokes mounted. The interior is fantastic, it is full leather, meaning the seats and trim panels. The tufted carpet set also comes in the matching slate color. So incredibly beautiful is the full walnut dash, with matching console and door trim. All gauges work perfectly, a stunning car that has been very well maintained. The cockpit is finished with an original Moto Lita steering wheel! Front fog lights give it the right 60's look. If it does get rained on, close the perfectly fitting Mohair soft top, again only the best materials have been used on this V8. What a car, and for only this amount. The car has a valid Dutch registration. Export papers registered in your name are always included in our price, making registration in another country easy.
