Austin Healey MKIII, BT7 with overdrive from 1963 in Black over Grey. This Austin Healey is not an over the top restored car but an excellent driver's car . The car has belonged to the same owner for 47 years. This is a true driver's car. The paintwork is ok and ash with patina all around, the sheet metal is solid and rust free. the chassis is original, rock hard and nicely straight. The engine is in great condition, the car drives, shifts and brakes fine. The gearbox shifts fine , the overdrive should be looked at, it does not engage. The car has just had a brand new clutch set and new battery. This BT7 has the original black leather upholstery and has nice chrome 72 spoke wire wheels. The car has a vinyl black soft top mounted, has a black vinyl tonneau cover and a wooden Moto Lita steering wheel. The former owner replaced the original aluminum dash at the time with a later wood dash from a BJ8, simply because he liked it better at the time. The original white/gold gauges are mounted in this. The old original dash comes with the car so it is easy to rebuild, with no modifications. All gauges are in perfect working condition. This car just asks to be driven , take it as it is.
