A little sports car brightens up our showroom again. A beautiful Mini Kensington 1.3 SPI has just arrived. The Mini Kensington was a luxury limited edition aimed primarily at the Japanese market and some in Europe. The sporty Mini Kensington is powered by Rover's ubiquitous 53 hp, 1,271cc inline-four with a four-speed manual transmission. This fine classic is finished in Nightfire Red, this rather smart little Mini has covered only 65,000 original miles. A beautifully luxurious interior with cream leather, wooden door covers, wooden dashboard, gear knob and even wooden phone holder. The interior is all in excellent condition. Everything is nice, clean and working properly. The car has been sublimely maintained by the previous owner , she had it for 26 years and she was the second owner. The technology of the car is excellent, just a turnkey example. The car has had anti-rust treatment in the past. The maintenance over the years has been done by Mini Garage Ben van Leeuwen, a super address. The electric sunroof was recently completely renewed with a brand new black mohair hood. Slide it open and suddenly you are driving in a convertible, what a great change this brings. This Mini is as it left the factory, all beautifully original and unspoiled, which is rare in a Mini these days. There are a few small rust spots on the paint as you can see, nothing serious.
