Mini Kensington, 1996. Number two.

Years of not getting one found, now two in a few weeks. So another little sports car brightens up our showroom. Another stunning Mini Kensington 1.3 SPI has arrived. The Mini Kensington was a luxury limited edition, aimed mainly at the Japanese market and some in Europe. The sporty Mini Kensington is powered by Rovers ubiquitous 53-hp, 1,271 cc four-in-line engine with a four-speed manual transmission. This fine classic is finished in Nightfire Red, this pretty smart little Mini has driven only original miles. A beautiful luxurious interior with cream leather and wood dashboard. The interior is in clean condition. Everything is nice, clean and works as it should. The car has been well maintained by the previous owner, it was his first car and he had it for 18 years. The technology of the car is excellent, just a turnkey example. The maintenance over the years has been performed by classic car garages in the Southern Netherlands. The electric sunroof works nicely, properly. Slide it open and suddenly you are driving in a convertible. What a great change! This Mini is as it left the factory, all original and untouched, which is rare in a Mini these days. There are a few small rust spots on the paint, as you can see, nothing serious. Both bottom edges of the doors need touch-up, as you can see. If desired, we can repair these for a fair price in our paint shop! The car has a valid MOT and is roadworthy.
