Beautifully restored Austin Healey Sprite 1098 in dark red. This very nice Austin Healey was built in 1964. The Sprite was completely restored several years ago, first the sheet metal and cosmetic parts were done, the engine and gearbox were completely overhauled at that time and are still in excellent condition. The technique of the car is excellent. This is a particularly neat copy, beautifully clean paintwork with beautifully fitted seams. The car has been very well maintained and has recently had major maintenance at a classic car company. This car is ready for many years of carefree driving pleasure. The interior is very clean, black vinyl seats with white piping, with new upholstery and seat foam, a fresh black carpet set and nine new trim panels, beautiful. The early Sprites feature a beautiful old-fashioned steel dash, giving it a wonderful classic look. The 1098cc Series A engine is super reliable and has a powerful roar. The dual SU carburetors give it more than enough power. Make no mistake, their light weight makes them fast driver's cars. This car is equipped with beautiful period-correct Dunlop wire wheels, along with all the other chrome that looks so good on it. The soft top is black vinyl, as factory fitted, and is like new.
