Triumph TR4A IRS, 1969

Original Dutch Triumph TR4A IRS of 1969. A nicer and easier project than this cannot be found I think. The previous owner was a lover of English Classics pure and simple. The best man drove a TR6, purchased from us and at the same time was restoring this beautiful TR4A IRS. The TR4A was wheeled into the barn and the restoration began. On a less pleasant note, he was unfortunately unable to complete the restoration. A perfectionist, it certainly was. More than €4000 was invested in new sheet metal over the last few years ( invoices available). Of course, this sheet metal never fit flawlessly and because nothing was good enough, everything was modified so that it did fit! So the car is already equipped with , new : floorboards , sills , wheel wells , front and rear valance , inner wings , A pillars , B pillars etc .. etc .. etc. You can't list it. The welding is all very professionally done. Sheet metal is almost done, nicer and better than factory. Chassis and engine still need to be checked but are in great condition. The car is very complete, really everything is there, seats, hood frame, soft top, tank, carburetors, wood dashboard complete with all the clocks, wiring harness and all the small supplies, everything is there. The surrey top from the old pictures is not with the car. The car stands on nice wire wheels . It is an original Dutch 4A IRS, which is rare in itself. Which tinkerer dares to do this small project and drives a top car for little money?
