Beastly 1957 Austin Healey 100-6 in British Racing Green with an amazing history. What a rally icon this car is. This original Dutch delivered Austin Healey has only had 5 owners in its entire life, the last owner had it for 4 years, the owner before that for about 20 years! The Healey is fully rally built. Really everything is thought of this car to make it rally proof. The engine puts out an incredible 160 HP with 321 Nm of torque, already at 1685 rpm. The engine has been boosted to 3000 cc, completely modified and rebuilt with forged pistons, 270 degree camshaft, balanced crankshaft and flywheel, aluminum oil pan, triple 45 Weber carburetors, oil cooler, aluminum radiator, aluminum valve cover, high torque starter motor, alternator, competition clutch and a modified cylinder head with larger valves. The car has an uprated chassis and weighted engine mounts. The entire suspension has been upgraded to heavy duty, so springs, dampers, roll bar, poly bushes etc. etc. The transmission has also been upgraded to heavy duty and the rear axle is equipped with a limited slip Diff. Of course, the brakes are also adapted to all this violence, the braking system is converted to separate braking system. The front brakes are weighted at the front and fitted with EBC blocks and discs. The rear has been unbuilt from drum to disc brakes. The entire electrics have been modified. The car is equipped with a Mallory ignition with associated tachometer. The A-type gearbox is equipped with a completion overdrive. In terms of appearance, the car is fully adapted to Works specs, so, a works hardtop with ventilation hatch, a works raised tailgate with spotlight, a thick cibie set of front spotlights, works louvers in both front wings, a 80 liter rally tank, center lock Minilights, double facet fuel pump, sparco rally seats with 4 point belts, aluminum halon extinguisher and aluminum sidescreens. Of course the proper rally instruments are mounted, a halda tripmaster, startime, and wayfinder and some additional supplies. The sound cannot be explained in text but the gurgling 6 in line with its triple webers produce a magical sound, not normal. Those who want to do serious rallys that is ready for this dependable and ralyproof Healey. This machine comes with a huge folder with full history , invoices, service interval, FIA passport, heritage certificate.
