Matching numbers Austin Healey MK3 phase 2, 1966 finishing project. The quality of this Healey is a rarity, you rarely see them this high. The chassis and sheet metal have been very professionally restored. Everything is top restored to factory standards. The ice blue over white paint job is phenomenal, super tight seams with picture-perfect, top-notch spray work. All work on the car was done in the Netherlands. The car was reed fitted with a new wiring harness, new brake lines, calipers, rear brakes, new fuel pump, fuel lines and new aluminum tank, telescopic Koni shock absorbers, rebuilt rear shock absorbers, powder coated wishbones, anti roll bar, new master brake cylinder, new clutch cylinder and all new electrics. The rear axle , entire front suspension, steering box and auxiliary steering box were overhauled. The engine underwent a complete overhaul at Dutch specialist van Ommeren and the gearbox at overhaul specialist von Munching. So both top quality. The interior is equipped in leather in the original blue color. This matching numbers Healey was originally this color , and I am sure it is more beautiful now than it ever left the factory before. All parts, such as window frames, bumpers, bumper brackets, etc. come with the car and need only be cleaned and mounted. An easier restoration is unfindable. The right tinkerer needs another 2 weeks and then he will have a topper of a Healey that can easily rival Healeys of 85 a €90,000 that we see for sale.
