Very neat 1959 Austin Healey BN6 with overdrive. These two-seaters were produced only briefly , only 4,150 were made in total. That makes the two seater a pretty rare appearance today. The line is also different from all other Healey's. It has a bit of the purity and shape of the 100/4, but with the delightful 6 cylinder in line. This Healey was owned by the previous owner for 30 years. The car was technically in very good condition when he bought it. During the years the man has maintained it perfectly. The engine and overdrive transmission are in excellent condition. A rebuilt original radiator has been installed and the carburetors have been taken care of. The bodywork was in need of work a couple of years ago, the car had a lot of newly welded in sheet metal a few years ago and was helenaalmioniwue tightened and painted. All this work was done by a Brabant oldtimer specialist . Pictures underlining the work are available. The paintwork is very neat, a beautiful glossy paint job, completely rust free. The chassis of the car is in neat rock-hard condition and is nicely preserved against external influences. For safety, the front drum brakes have been replaced with a whole brake disc conversion set, a set with ventilated discs, a huge improvement. The car has also been fitted with an alternator so that proper power is available. At the rear, for safety reasons opted for the larger taillights of the late type, so that traffic behind you can actually see that you are braking. The interior is very clean and equipped with black leather seats and a new carpet set. The dashboard gauges are all original and all work perfectly. The chrome all around like window frame etc. are I very clean condition. The bumpers have been removed for a sporty look. The bumpers are obviously with the car and in very good condition. The two Lucas lights on the front and the welded-in works air intakes in the front fenders make it a lot tougher. Brand new 72 spoke Chrome Dunlop MWS wire wheels with new 185-15 classic tires look especially good on this Healy. The soft top is finished in black vinyl and is in very clean condition. Aluminum sidescreens with as factory delivered are in the trunk and are very clean, you probably use them very little. This beautiful Healey invites you to drive it open in all its purity, what beautiful curves, what a line this car has. Welll done Donald Healey.
