It's been a while since we had a Frogeye in our showroom. This 1959 Austin Healey Sprite MKI has just arrived. This Matching Numbers black frog was restored between 2011 and 2015. The car is in excellent condition. The paint job on this Sprite is absolutely stunning, incredibly glossy paint and tight sheet metal. The car is equipped with the original 948 engine that was also rebuilt at that time. The gearbox was upgraded to a later and rebuilt "ribcase" gearbox, which is much stronger and shifts much sharper. The car has a brake booster which is a huge improvement, it now stops when it needs to. K&N filters were installed and the carburetors were rebuilt. The brake lines, hoses, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, complete clutch, everything was renewed. There is a new carpet set and a new soft top installed, both still in excellent condition. The car has about new sidescreens and a tonneau cover to close off the cockpit. The seats are finished in black leather, the best available. An original steering wheel is a rarity, beautiful and not available for years. !The car has been owned by the previous owner since 2019, she has used it far too little, hence it is for sale. The car is very well maintained and technically in very good condition. All bills from 2011 are with the car. This frogeye is a small go-kart, a real driver's car. The Healey features gray minilight wheels, strong and beautiful. You won't find a better one for this price, I assure you
