Triumph Spitfire 1500, 1977
Stunning 1977 Triumph Spitfire 1500. This restored Spitfire is painted in the most sought after color British Racing Green. The car was fully restored several years ago, completely body off. The chassis has been blasted, thoroughly taken care of and painted in the original black color , the sheet metal has been professionally painted, very clean. A few pictures of this are available. Then everything was rebuilt with reconditioned and new parts, and driven for several years. What a beautiful appearance is this 70's classic. The seams are in very clean condition, and that's tough on a Spitfire. The engine and gearbox were of course also completely overhauled at the time. So under the hood everything is also very clean. The 1500 engine runs wonderfully quiet. Everything has been renewed, pipes, brakes, clutch, chrome work etc.. The interior is completely renewed and very clean, the black upholstery is like new, the carpet set, door panels and hood cover are all equipped in black vinyl. The soft top is new and equipped in beige mohair , the most beautiful and expensive kind. A Mountney wood steering wheel matched perfectly with the walnut wood dashboard. All dashboard clocks have been completely reconditioned so they work perfectly. The chrome Dunlop MWS wire wheels look perfect on this classic Triumph, beautifully classic. The restoration of this original Dutch Spit has been many times more expensive, that's for sure! The car is absolutely rust free, there is a paint damage on the hood and a scratch on the rear screen. For a small additional charge we can have this painted for you if desired. The car comes with a valuation report of €16,500. The car has Belgian papers and is a former Dutch registration. So it is easy to get the old Dutch license plate back. Who is going to enjoy this 70's beauty carefree this spring and coming summers?
