Beautiful original Dutch delivered 1965 Triumph Spitfire 4 MKI. This very neat Spitfire has undergone a complete restoration about 10 years ago. The car was completely done, including the chassis. Chassis and car have been completely repainted and professionally rebuilt. The paintwork is very clean and super tight. The chrome work is all original, re-chromed and still like new. The engine is a 1293 CC with MKIII overdrive gearbox, this to have more power and a more reliable engine. The engine and gearbox are of course also completely overhauled. The engine has a fast road camshaft fitted, the cylinder head has been unleaded, flowed and fitted with larger valves and bronze valve guides. The car has a lighter flywheel which has been balanced along with the crankshaft and clutch pressure group. Only the best for this car, it gives it a total of 80 BHP, phenomenal. The interior is very clean, everything is built as factory original with some sporty upgrades. The car has a special intake manifold with two twin Weber carburetors, a stainless steel sport exhaust with 4-2-1 spaghetti manifold, an alternator, oil cooler and aluminum valve cover. An electronic ignition makes it even more reliable. The suspension has been upgraded to Koni telescopic shock absorbers and a stronger leaf spring with GT6 stabilizer bar. The soft top is finished in high-quality black mohair. A matching signal red factory hardtop makes the car completely different, very nice. It sits on Chrome Dunlop wire wheels, incredibly beautiful.
