Triumph TR3A Overdrive 1961

Beautifully restored 1961 Triumph TR3A with overdrive. This TR is the cleanest 3A we have had in here ooi. The car has been completely body off restored. The chassis was blasted, shouldered and then powder coated. This chassis is protected from rust for life. The inner body was carefully blasted and epoxy-sprayed by the same company. All seams and hollow spaces were treated with Waxoil before and after assembly. Really all loose parts are painted in 2K paint, rusting is almost impossible with this car.The sheet metal is professionally tightened and painted at a Dutch company, a super tight car is the result. The rear of the inner body has been modified (a clever guy who would notice), however, this ensures that in this TR3 a person of 2 meters in length will fit with the greatest ease. What a plus. The engine was overhauled at the Nijmegen Motorcycle Revision, which included an upgrade. The pistons and bushings were replaced with the 87 MM variant, in short a wonderfully smooth 2187 cc engine is the result. The cylinder head was hereby modified and made suitable for unleaded gasoline. The second upgrade is a fast road camshaft, which gives the engine some extra punch. The SU carburetors were completely overhauled and a stainless steel exhaust system was installed. The chrome work has all been renewed and the entire electrics have been renewed by a Dutch specialist. The gearbox with overdrive was completely overhauled at a Dutch specialist. Of course, the clutch set was also completely replaced. The car was built with the finest and best materials available. The best of the best. The mohair soft top, sidescreens and hood cover were handmade at a Dutch specialist, and fitted to the car. Top quality where the beautiful wine red color contrasts beautifully with the Old English White paintwork. The interior is equally new all together, beautiful Cobra Classic seats with a matching panel set and carpet set. A Moto Lita handlebar completes the look. The car has an alarm and built-in trickle charger connection. 72 Spoke Dunlop wire wheels are newly mounted with 185-15 classic tires. The car is completely matching numbers, a Heritage certificate is included. There is also a whole file of the restoration with bills and many photos.The car has a Dutch registration. Proper export papers are always included in the price with us. This makes it easy to register it abroad.
